VTM ht – Hard Turning Version

The ELHA VTM ht is a cost and technically optimized version of the VTM, specially laid out for the application in finish-processing by hard turning, grinding as well as drill-, thread- and mill processing and suitable for applications like finishing of large roller bearing rings, flanges and gear components. Apart from the features known from the VTM like composite material structure and ELHA SDD segment motor with adapted capacity the VTM ht varies especially by the use of roller guides in the linear axes as well as one or two cross slides with separated holding systems for the turn- and mill processing. Drive capacity of the tool spindle is 42 kW in S1 operation.
